The unit was set up on the west side of the river Bisakhali at a cost of Tk 2.22 crore for a period of 3-5 years. BMRE is made at Tk 2.5 crore at 8-20 times. At present, the following facilities exist:
Ice Age (1 ton capacity) - 1
Double Auction Shed (HACCP Quality) - 1
Pottery (For Fisheries Marketing) - 25
Mini Dockyard (2 slipways) - 1
Water purification filter (1 liter capacity) - 1
Pure water supply tank (5 liters) - 1
Pontoon (Fishing facility) - 1
